Size Guide
Not sure which size to pick? Use the charts below, or email support@silverstonenewyork.com and we'll help you choose. All of our chains and bracelets are measured end to end, including the clasp.
Necklace and chain length
Where a chain sits depends on your neck size and build. These positions are for an average adult neck (about 15–16 inches for men, 13–14 inches for women).
| Length | Where it sits (men) | Where it sits (women) |
|---|---|---|
| 16" | Close to the base of the neck | At the base of the neck |
| 18" | At the base of the neck | On the collarbone |
| 20" | Just below the collarbone (most popular) | A few inches below the collarbone |
| 22" | A few inches below the collarbone | Above the bust |
| 24" | Upper chest; good for pendants | At the bust |
| 26" | Mid chest | Below the bust |
| 28"–30" | Lower chest; layering and large pendants | Long layering length |
Tip: wrap a piece of string around your neck, let it fall where you want the chain to sit, and measure the string. Adding a pendant? Go one size longer so the pendant sits below the collarbone.
Chain width
| Width | Look | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2–2mm | Fine and subtle | Pendants, layering, everyday wear |
| 2.3–3.5mm | Classic, noticeable | Everyday chain on its own or with a pendant |
| 4–5.5mm | Bold | A standout chain worn alone |
| 6mm and up | Statement | Heavy Cuban, flat curb and iced-out looks |
Bracelet length
Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone with a soft tape, then add 1/2" to 1" for a comfortable fit.
| Your wrist | Snug fit | Comfortable fit |
|---|---|---|
| 6" | 6.5" | 7" |
| 6.5" | 7" | 7.5" |
| 7" | 7.5" | 8" |
| 7.5" | 8" | 8.5" |
| 8" | 8.5" | 9" |
Thicker chains (5mm and up) feel tighter, so choose the longer size.
Ring size (US)
Measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits the finger you want, or wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger and measure the circumference. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are largest. If you're between sizes, choose the larger one.
| US size | Inside diameter | Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7mm | 49.3mm |
| 5.5 | 16.1mm | 50.6mm |
| 6 | 16.5mm | 51.9mm |
| 6.5 | 16.9mm | 53.1mm |
| 7 | 17.3mm | 54.4mm |
| 7.5 | 17.7mm | 55.7mm |
| 8 | 18.1mm | 57.0mm |
| 8.5 | 18.5mm | 58.2mm |
| 9 | 18.9mm | 59.5mm |
| 9.5 | 19.4mm | 60.8mm |
| 10 | 19.8mm | 62.1mm |
| 10.5 | 20.2mm | 63.3mm |
| 11 | 20.6mm | 64.6mm |
| 11.5 | 21.0mm | 65.9mm |
| 12 | 21.4mm | 67.2mm |
| 12.5 | 21.8mm | 68.5mm |
| 13 | 22.2mm | 69.7mm |
Stud earring size
Stud sizes are the width of the stone. 3–4mm is subtle and great for second piercings; 5–6mm is the most popular everyday size; 7mm and up is a bold statement.

In love with my Saint Benedict charm! I also received a gift, and I am grateful to Silverstone NYC for such a lovely gesture. May God bless your business!
It’s a nice medal. Size as described, a little smaller for what I needed it (got the 8mm), but follows item description. Good detail for the size. I wish the bail/hoop were welded given I use it daily without taking it off. I recommend. Doesn’t have the stamp but looks/feels like genuine solid silver.
The medal is very small, this is a scam, it's not what they offered me, it looks like a pinhead.
It’s beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for, plus I got a cute lil bracelet!!!
I love the St Benedict medal and the commentary gift. Thank you!
